Bielefeld (Germany Day 1)
Yesterday night, I took SQ26 from Singapore to Frankfurt together with our supplier and business associates. Was really happy that my dear dear, my parents and my sis were there to see me off. Managed to see Yeeling at the airport too as she was coming back from a flight. Appreciate it! Man, this is the longest flight that I have ever taken. 12hrs 40min. Thank God there is a personal screen for everyone, otherwise I'll be bored to death! There were about more than half of the people in the plane are Europeans, thus big size. Was struggling to fall asleep in a unnatural position.
After reaching Frankfurt International airport, we had to transit using a domestic plane. The plane had 3 crew including the pilot. Total occupancy is 50. As it was a short distance, it wasn't so bad (40min). I left Singapore at 2350hrs and I reached Germany (after transit) at 850am (Germany is 6hrs behind Singapore). It's like a mutli-region gathering. There were about 6 Koreans, 6 Japs, 2 Indonesians, 4thais, 1 malaysian and 4 Singaporeans for this trip.
We went to a small town called Bielefeld. It's a very nice place. Cold cold too. 7 Deg C. A very relaxing atmosphere and there is a castle! I have uploaded them into my photobucket and shall slideshow them in my next post.
Going to have my dinner soon liao. Time now is 530pm in Germany and 1130pm in Singapore. I miss my dear dear lots lots! =)

- laptop for checking emails at work and for presentation

- PSP (borrowed from my fren, thanks Ralphael!)
- Digicam (going to borrow from my dear)
- chargers (for all the respective electronic gadgets)
- "Good morning Holy Spirit"
- Bible
My dear dear is down with severe flu, which caused her to have numbness at the back of her head, aches in her body and cough. How I wish I can postpone my flight and take care of her. Pray the guardian angels will watch over her when i'm not physically around.
Hope the stuff in Germany will not be too expensive!
Gambatte for those having exams now!
Last week there wasn't many people who came for cell but it was a nice time of hearing the testimonies of how God had blessed for the people who came. For me, it was how God spoke to me throughout the week on John 15 which says that God is the vine while we are the branches and as long as we are with the vine, we will bear much fruit.
Bearing fruit doesn't have to just constrain within getting your friends saved. It could mean developing love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, kindness and self-control. Yes, fruits of the spirit.
Last friday, there was a situation whereby i was thrown into doing something out of convenience or I could choose to take the extra step to make things right from the start. Customer ordered 300pcs of type A1 product. However, when the time he placed the order, I would only left with 1/3 of type A1 product. My colleague suggested to thrown in balance of A2 product (very similar and cheaper by abit).
If i were to do the former action, everything would be ok if there is nothing wrong. However, IF something goes wrong and due to convenience i decided not to tell in advance, it will jeopardize the name of the company and also my integrity. I went with the former but while having my lunch, something within me was telling me that it's not worth it. Why risk the convenience (& also gaining an extra profit of 20 bucks) for all these? After lunch, I told the purchaser that what I would be supplying consist of the respective ratio of type A products. If he couldn't make the decision, he can ask his engineer and check if it is acceptable. If not, we will take the unacceptable items back without any questions asked. Thank God that after all these hassle, they accepted the items because the item they're using can fit both type A products.
Through this episode, I had the peace of God, joy of doing what is right and love from God. He never fails! For those who are studying for the exams currently, perservere! As long as you remain in Him, He will remain in you and you will bear fruits! Thus, don't leave God out of your revision during this crucial period. Let this time be a time of honoring Him and He will bless you with fruits that will bring glory to His name!
1st quarter of 08 whizzed past! That's fast!
By the time i'm blogging this post, i'm not sure how many people are actually visiting this site coz it's been a looooong time since i last blogged.
Many good things and bad things (but God always turn something bad into good for those who love Him ^.^) happened.
Thank God that
- The 3 cable supply projects are going to finish soon! (1 project has been delivered, 1 close to 95% done and the last one about 75% done) It has been 1 year since the start of the cable delivery. Though there has been hiccups (late cable deliveries from factory), God somehow made a way out of the situation such that we do not have to pay for L.D (liquidity damages) and thank Him for the wisdom and peace during that period.
- Company catalogue is currently in production! (after close to 1.5years of planning, taking photographs and changes) Should be out by end of this month!
- I'm blessed with a new car, it's still an altis though (more of it's a shared car between me and my sis).
- My lil sis finished her 2 years in SGH and pray that she will think more maturely and start to think about the ones who care for her alot (my parents) and be responsible in whatever she does from now onwards.
- I'm able to get discount from using my credit card for the golf lessons that i took up. It's a fun game, not easy to pick up, need lots of patience and FOCUS.
This 2nd quarter have to pray for lots of journey mercy from the Lord
- My mum's china trip with my auntie and my grandfather (they're coming back this sat!)
- 19th April, I would be going to Germany for an exhibition trip and a supplier training session until 31st April 08.
- My sis would be going to Vietnam during the period too.
- In May, my parents would be going to Cambodia to tour and during the same period my lil sis would go to Bangkok with her friends.
- I'll be going for my very first church camp in May 31st to 5th June!
Thus, i feel that this 2nd quarter will fly by very fast again and also a period whereby not very often all the family members are in Singapore. I hope that i'll be able to blog more often coz most of the time want to blog but dun have the time. When i have the time, dun have the mood to blog. Haha, i guess many people who don't have a blog have this syndrome most of the time. =p
