Update

Realised that the last time I blogged was exactly 1 month ago. Many times I wanted to blog but either i'm really very tired or no time to blog. Thus, guess where i'm blogging from right now? From my office desk! Not that i'm skiving but I've done my work and writing this in the span of the free time I can come out with.

Thus a little update of myself.

At work
- As we are currently making a catalogue for the company, i'm priviliged to be somehow involved in this "project". Also blessed to have friends in the related field of work (printing & photography) to give me good prices.
- thank God for the wisdom and favour to handle difficult situations with difficult customers
- Really need patience with customers who calls without identifying who they are AND not really knowing what they are requesting for AND die die want us to give them a quote.
- It's really a complicated world out there whereby you know competitor A is getting some items from you to supply to customer 1. Due to certain restrictions, customer 1 do not want to open the possibility of us as one of their vendor list and if they want to purchase something from us, they will go through competitor A. The problem comes in when competitor A IF they know where to get cheaper alternatives will supply to customer A themselves and keep the balance themselves as profit. That makes us do all the groundwork for nothing. I know that's the battlezone in the marketplace but I just wish for favour to just provide the competitive edge out there. sigh.

At home
- thank God for good health even though the haze is so bad these days
- my parents able to express love to my little sis better through the workshops that they have attended and that makes my little sis appreciate them a bit better. But, she still smokes and my dad as somehow resented to it because while walking back to office after lunch, we saw 1 lady walking by the road having a cigarette by one hand and he commented that nowadays seems like it's a common thing that ladies smoke too.

With friends
- Caught up with a few of my JC friends and after taking photos, realised that we really grow old already. Gone were the days whereby girls dress to try to look mature (now is the other way round. oops) and while taking pictures can see the tired faces that one have. Funny feeling that many of our friends are getting married or even pregnant mummies or daddies to be.
- Have 1 wedding to attend this friday and another one end of year.
- Heard of a few friends in church having wedding bells next year.

Relationship
- Thank God for the wisdom and peace for me to handle in times of testing period. It's definitely not easy when one is working while my gf is studying for her final year. The amount of projects, assignments, quizzes, presentations will practically kill anyone off their life. But i believe this is a season that God is moulding us to be more like Him, that is to love and give then to receive.
